It is an international peer-reviewed scientific journal, first published in 1995. Mal J Nutr serves as a forum for the sharing of research findings and information across broad areas in nutrition. It publishes current and emerging topics in human nutrition in the form of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications and letters to the Editor. All Mal J Nutr issues can be viewed free of charge.\n\nMal J Nutr is ranked high in the Malaysian Citation Index (MyCite) of the Ministry of Education. The journal has also become one of the most preferred English language nutrition journals in the region. Mal J Nutr is abstracted/indexed by Elsevier databases of the Scopus, Google Scholar, the WHO Western Pacific Region Index Medicus (WPRIM), National Library of Medicine, ASEAN Citation Index (ACI), CABI Global Health database and Asian Digital Library (ADL).\n\nThe journal continues to strive to improve its quality and services to nutrition scientists in the region.
