{"content":"Malaysia Legacy Advisory Organisation or known as Pertubuhan Penasihat Legasi Malaysia (PPLM) was established to create awareness to the public at large on the importance of having a complete and comprehensive legacy planning including will writing, trust planning, asset protection, life planning, etc. Malaysia has accumulated approximately 80 Billion of unclaimed assets as at to-date because of the “contribution” made by its citizens over the years because of lacking of knowledge in this field and this is definitely worrying.\n\n​\n\nMany are aware when it comes to the “basic” – will writing, but little did they know that actually it is way more than that. It is often assumed that the family members of a deceased can easily figure out the list of assets owned by the deceased over the counter in the government departments or; what’s even worse is that many too, assumed that the whole estate of a deceased will be automatically transferred or inherited by the family members or next-of-kin after the person’s demise. Both of which are purely misconception.
